Shipping rates
Shipping is a flat rate by size, shown in your total before checkout — there is no separate shipping charge added afterwards, and no wallet to top up:
- Small — $15 (wigs, accessories)
- Medium — $20 (a single costume)
- Large — $25 (armour, full sets)
- Oversized — $50+ (luggage, large props)
The same flat rates apply to US, UK, EU, Australia, and other supported destinations. All prices are in US dollars. Current rates are also shown in the shipping section on the homepage.
Delivery time
We ship door-to-door with tracking. Typical delivery is 2–4 weeks from the time your order is placed and confirmed. That window covers seller processing, our quality check at the inspection point in China, and international transit.
Two things can add time, and both are normal:
- Made-to-order items. Many cosplay listings are cut and sewn after you buy, so the seller needs production time before the item can ship. This is standard for cosplay, not a red flag.
- Chinese holidays. Around Chinese New Year (late January to February) and Golden Week (early October), factories and logistics slow down or pause.
Planning around a con? Order at least 5–6 weeks out. The 2–4 week window covers the normal case; the extra buffer absorbs production time, alterations, and any customs delay. For complex multi-piece builds or custom measurements, add another week.
Customs, duties, and VAT
Our price covers the item, service fee, and shipping. Any import duties, VAT, or customs/carrier processing fees are your responsibility and are charged to you directly by the carrier or customs authority when the parcel reaches your country. A few current pointers (general guidance, not legal advice — final charges are set by your country’s customs authority):
- USA: the duty-free de minimis exemption for China-origin parcels was removed in 2025, so small packages can now attract import duties and carrier processing fees.
- UK: the low-value VAT exemption was removed; expect VAT (currently 20%) on imports.
- EU: the low-value exemption ended in 2021, so imports generally trigger VAT at your country’s rate plus a small carrier handling fee.
- Australia: a generous AUD $1,000 threshold means most cosplay orders clear without extra charges.
Rules change often. Check your country’s current guidance if the landed total matters to your budget. We are not responsible for customs delays, inspections, holds, or seizures, which are outside our control.
Quality check before every order ships
Every order is inspected in China before it ships internationally. We check for the wrong item, wrong colour, visible damage, and missing pieces — so problems are caught before your costume crosses an ocean, not after. This is the single most important safeguard in the process. If the quality check finds a problem, we resolve it with the seller (a correction, a replacement, or — where it cannot be resolved and the order has not shipped — an appropriate refund) before anything is sent.
Returns and refunds
All sales are final once sourcing has begun. Because we buy your specific item from a third-party Taobao seller on your behalf, and many items are made to order, we cannot accept change-of-mind returns after the order is placed with the seller. The quality check above is how we protect you instead: faults are caught pre-shipment.
If a genuine fault gets past the quality check — a wrong or damaged item that we missed — contact us promptly with photos and we will work with you in good faith to make it right. This does not affect any non-excludable rights you may have under the mandatory consumer law of your country. See our Terms of Service for the full policy.
A note on sizing
Chinese cosplay sizing runs about one to two sizes smaller than Western sizing (a Chinese XL is roughly a Western M or L). Always order by centimetre measurements from the seller’s size chart, never by letter size — it is the single biggest cause of avoidable fit problems. We handle sizing questions with the seller in Chinese before your order goes through.
